Submission Guidelines

What a tool needs before it can join the pack.

Who can submit

Anyone with a SaaS Puppy account can submit a tool. You do not need to own the product, but owners can verify their ownership for free with a code sent to an email address at the tool's domain. Signing in alone does not verify ownership.

Required details

Tool name, category, official website, official pricing page, a short tagline (5 to 120 characters), a description of at least 30 characters, and the exact free plan limits written one per line as "Label: value".

Optional but encouraged: practical pros and cons, and whether a card is needed for the free plan.

What gets accepted

A real, working product with a genuine free plan or free trial, accurate limits that match the official pricing page, and text and images you have permission to share.

What gets rejected

Duplicate listings, misleading or out-of-date limits, products with no free plan or trial, affiliate, tracking or referral links, unsafe or illegal products, and submissions containing secrets or personal information about other people.

Review and status

Your tool is only sent once you pick the Free plan. Free reviews take up to 14 days. Fast track is coming soon; new purchases are paused, while existing paid reviews retain their deadlines and refund rights. You receive an email with the status and date when your tool is published or rejected. A rejection always includes the reason, which also appears on your dashboard. Sometimes changes are requested instead, and you can edit and resubmit.

After a decision

Submitted tools stay linked to you as the submitter, even when SaaS Puppy edits details for accuracy. Verified domain owners can edit tool details and add screenshots, but cannot delete tools or change editorial approval. Rejected submissions are kept on record and are not deleted. Rejected fast-track submissions are refunded under the Refund Policy.
