Who runs SaaS Puppy

SaaS Puppy is a free-tier directory for indie hackers and solo builders, created by Rahul Parathy. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@saaspuppy.com.

What we collect

Browsing the directory does not require an account. Member accounts use email/password or a supported social sign-in provider. We receive your email, account identifiers and sign-in information. Tool submissions, contact messages and change reports contain the details you enter. Bookmarks are private to your account; the owner can see aggregate counts. Newsletter signup collects your email, optional first name and consent.

Domain verification records contain your tool-domain email, a hashed code, request and expiration times, failed attempts and verification status. Fast-track purchases involve a one-time payment, review tier and payment confirmation. Advertising involves subscription, agreement and placement records, separate from member accounts. A third party payment provider handles card details; do not send card details through our forms.

Analytics and errors

We use analytics services to understand visits, page views and traffic, and error monitoring services to investigate browser errors. These services may process technical information such as device and browser details, approximate location derived from network information and visit identifiers. Private admin, vendor and checkout pages are excluded from our page view tracking. Session recording is disabled.

Our analytics configuration respects the browser Do Not Track setting. Error reports are configured to remove user and request details, but please avoid including sensitive information in messages or error text.

Browser storage

Browser storage supports sign in, remembers newsletter signup or dismissal, and provides analytics visit identifiers. Newsletter dismissal is remembered for 24 hours in the same browser; we do not use IP tracking to decide when the popup returns. Blocking or clearing storage can reset these preferences.

How we use and share information

We use information to review listings and corrections, answer messages, deliver requested newsletters, maintain accounts and paid placements, and keep the site reliable. Account emails include signup confirmation, welcome, review status and requested domain verification codes. We share relevant information with service providers for hosting and storage, newsletters, account and app emails, payment processing, analytics and error monitoring.

Providers process information to deliver these services and may process it in countries other than yours. We do not sell contact details. Following a product or affiliate link takes you to another service with its own privacy policy.

Retention and your choices

We keep submissions, correspondence and account information as needed to operate the directory, respond to requests and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion period.

You can unsubscribe from newsletters using the unsubscribe option in an email, adjust browser storage and tracking settings, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information. Applicable rights and necessary recordkeeping exceptions depend on your location.
