Serverless functions at the edge. Free: 100,000 requests a day and 10 ms of CPU per invocation.
Past the daily limit, further requests fail with an error instead of billing you. Cloudflare Workers runs JavaScript and other code on Cloudflare's network without managing servers. The pricing docs list the Free plan at 100,000 requests per day, no charge for duration and 10 milliseconds of CPU time per invocation, and say that when you exceed a limit, further operations of that type fail with an error. Reddit commenters add detail: the 10 ms counts active CPU time, not time spent waiting on a response, so IO-heavy handlers fit, and 100,000 requests a day is about 3M a month if fully used. Pages Functions share the Workers quota. Practical complaints include errors at the free limits when using D1 and observability, and one commenter said the free tier of Workers AI is only for experimentation. I found no G2 or Trustpilot listing for Workers.

The free limits are 100,000 requests a day and 10 ms of CPU per invocation, with no charge for duration. When you exceed a limit, further operations of that type fail with an error until it resets. The 10 ms is active CPU time, not wall-clock time, so a handler that mostly awaits fetches or database calls stays within it. CPU-heavy work such as large JSON transforms, image processing or crypto will not. Other Cloudflare products used with Workers have their own free limits. A Reddit poster reported D1 and observability limits causing errors, and D1's daily limits are listed on its own pricing page. I could not confirm the signup card requirement, commercial terms or Workers Paid pricing.
Raises the request and CPU time limits. The price and included amounts were not captured in the pricing text I read.
