In-app purchase and subscription backend. Free until $2,500 in monthly tracked revenue, then 1%.
Free until your app earns real money, which is a fair deal for a first mobile launch. RevenueCat is a subscription backend and SDK layer for mobile apps that manages in-app purchases across the app stores. The Pro plan is free for up to $2,500 in monthly tracked revenue and charges 1% above that. Growth Tools, covering paywalls, web-to-app funnels and A/B/n testing, are listed with the same $2,500 threshold and 1% fee. Enterprise is custom. Reddit users in r/iOSProgramming describe it as smooth to integrate, one reporting over 10k purchases across about 1.5 years, and a commenter says it handles receipt validation, renewals, grace periods, refunds and upgrades. A G2 reviewer said it reduces development time and risk in managing subscriptions. A poster titled 'Regret using RevenueCat' complains that it charges on gross rather than net revenue. It suits mobile developers who want subscriptions without writing receipt logic.

RevenueCat is free until your apps track $2,500 a month in revenue. Above that you pay 1% of the revenue it tracks. Growth Tools for paywalls, funnels and A/B/n testing show the same threshold and rate, and I could not tell from the page whether the two fees add up. One r/iOSProgramming poster regrets the fee being calculated on gross revenue, which includes the store's cut. Their dashboard showed about $4.5k against a payout near $3k. That is one poster's account, but it shows how to check your own numbers before choosing. Native StoreKit has improved, so some developers question whether they still need RevenueCat. Others say it removes a lot of maintenance around receipts and renewals. Both views appear in the threads I read.

Yes, up to $2,500 in monthly tracked revenue. Above that, 1%.
A poster in r/iOSProgramming says it does and that their payout was lower than the dashboard figure. Check the terms.
Opinions differ. A r/iOSProgramming thread asks the question and others say it removes receipt and renewal maintenance.

A G2 reviewer says it reduces development time and risk. I found few negative G2 comments.
