Cloady is a cloud application platform from NeptoLab LLC for hosting apps and databases. You deploy from a GitHub repo, a Docker image, an uploaded folder, or a catalog of 383 one-click templates (WordPress, Postgres, n8n, Supabase and more), then manage everything in one workspace with logs, a browser terminal, file browser, database grid and monitoring. Apps get automatic HTTPS on a cloady.io hostname and can use custom domains. Pricing follows the CPU, RAM and SSD your apps declare rather than requests or usage. A workspace is free while everything it runs fits within 0.5 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 5 GB SSD, with 200 GB of traffic, and no card is needed to start. Going past any one of those limits makes the whole workspace billable, so the free tier suits one or two small apps, not a growing stack. Apps run in Germany, Singapore, US East or US West, and can be automated through a CLI, REST API, Terraform provider or an MCP server.

Free tier quotas

Free workspaceFree while all apps in the workspace fit 0.5 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 5 GB SSD
Traffic200 GB included on the free tier; paid capacity has unlimited network traffic
Card to startNot needed. A card is only requested when a deploy would pass the free allowance
What happens past the limitAny one resource over the threshold makes the whole workspace billable, not just the excess
RegionsGermany (EU1), Singapore (SIN1), US East (USE1), US West (USW1), all open on the free tier
Included on every appAutomatic HTTPS, live log tail, metrics, browser terminal, file browser, database grid, custom domains
Managed backupsOptional, adds 20% to the resource price of backed-up apps (daily snapshots, 7 restore points)

πŸ‘ Good boy

  • +No card needed to start, and the free allowance is not time-limited
  • +Prices are flat per CPU, RAM and SSD and the same in every region, with no egress fees on paid capacity
  • +383 one-click templates including WordPress, Postgres and n8n
  • +One workspace covers apps, databases and persistent volumes, so a site and its database sit together
  • +Built-in terminal, file browser, database editor, Git view and monitoring, no separate setup
  • +Deploys from GitHub, Docker image, uploaded folder or template, plus CLI, REST API, Terraform and an MCP server
  • +Custom domains with Let's Encrypt certificates on every app

πŸ‘Ž Watch out

  • βˆ’The free tier is a cliff: going over any one limit bills the entire workspace, and the free allowance is not subtracted from paid capacity
  • βˆ’Free allowance is small (0.5 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 5 GB SSD), and a database plus an app will use much of it
  • βˆ’You pay for declared capacity, so an idle or stopped app keeps its price once the workspace is paid
  • βˆ’Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires, and the terms give no guaranteed uptime SLA
  • βˆ’Managed backups are an extra 20% and are not part of the free tier
  • βˆ’Importing from Railway, Render or Vercel does not copy database contents or volumes
  • βˆ’No automatic failover between regions; an app runs in one region
  • βˆ’Young platform with a small user base: the most-installed template shows 155 installs and Postgres shows 2

The catch

The free allowance is a threshold, not a discount. Once any one resource passes 0.5 vCPU, 1 GB RAM or 5 GB SSD, the whole workspace is billed (Small starts at $6/mo). Billing follows declared capacity, so an idle or stopped app still costs the same.

Common questions

Do I need a card to start?

No. The homepage and docs say no card is needed to start. A deploy that would take the workspace past the free allowance returns payment_required until a card is added.

What counts toward the free allowance?

All apps in the workspace are added together. The workspace stays free while the total fits 0.5 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 5 GB SSD.

What happens when I go over?

The entire workspace total becomes billable, not just the excess. Increases are charged straight away and decreases apply at the next renewal.

Can I run an app and its database together?

Yes. An app can hold several services and volumes, or you can deploy a database as its own app. Both count toward the allowance.

Can I move from Railway, Render or Vercel?

The importer prepares service configuration for review. Database contents, uploaded files and volumes are not copied, so migrate data separately.
